breCAM.HIPC True Nature: Advanced high-performance polymer composite blank combines natural aesthetics with efficient laboratory workflow

The bredent group has added breCAM.HIPC True Nature to its CAD/CAM material portfolio. This new blank is based on the time-tested HIPC material, a formulation with more than 15 years of clinical track record. It has been specifically enhanced and modified for breCAM.HIPC True Nature to meet optimum standards in aesthetics and natural appearance. This means the new, advanced high-performance polymer composite blank combines optimised mechanical properties with a natural light effect and a cost-effective manufacturing process in the dental laboratory.

Mixed with ceramic microfillers, the acrylic-based polymer composite (HIPC) combines elastic material properties with optimum fracture resistance and high elongation capacity. Thanks to its shock absorbing properties, the material promotes physiological force distribution and can reduce force transmission to implants and the surrounding bone. At the same time, breCAM.HIPC True Nature is characterised by high abrasion resistance, excellent polishability, and a smooth, plaque-resistant and colour-stable surface. The harmonious colour gradients, a strength and translucency gradient modelled on the natural tooth, and optimised opalescence and fluorescence combine to create vibrant, natural-looking restorations.

In addition to material properties, development focused in particular on efficiency in the laboratory. Thanks to its harmonious colour gradient, the blank requires less manual finishing and can be machined on all standard milling systems using either wet or dry processing. This streamlines the workflow, resulting in time and cost benefits.

breCAM.HIPC True Nature’s broad application range makes it a versatile choice for everyday laboratory work. Suitable for fixed, removable and conditionally removable solutions, the material is designed for temporary and permanent restorations on natural teeth and implants.

The range of applications includes veneers, inlays, onlays, anatomically reduced, occlusally screwed, monolithic crowns and bridges with up to two pontics or a span of 22 mm, prosthetic teeth and splints.

The blank is available in shades A1 to A3.5, B1, and BL1 and BL3, based on the VITA Classic colours, and in heights of 16, 20, and 25 mm.
